Introduction


The Orange-tipped Leaf-footed Bug, or Squash Bug, is a major pest on members of the Cucurbitaceae (the Cucumber plant family), in particular on squash and pumpkin crops. It is found in from Canada south to Central America (Alston 2008). Adults and immatures feed on leaves, fruit and vine.
